ASTON MARTIN DB4 GT ZAGATO, Chassis 178
One of just eight left hand drive DB4 GT Zagatos built, chassis '178' was displayed in its distinct red colour at the 1961 Geneva Motor Show. The car's first owner, Edy Corthesy, raced it later that year in Spa Grand Prix. Amazingly, this was his first ever race. The car was sold shortly after to an American based collector. In 1962 it graced the cover of 'Car and Driver' magazine. During the following years, the Zagato Coupe was regularly displayed, most recently at the 2008 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance where Aston Martin was the featured marque.
